The Xspan Laminoplasty Fixation System is designed to provide surgeons with flexibility and control during posterior cervical procedures, offering the ability to place screws prior to destabilizing the lamina. Multiple plate configurations, including hinge plates, accommodate varying levels of pathology and instability. The system reduces the need for extensive lateral exposure with its side-by-side plate design, while the inline plate maintains increased distance from the facets or foramina. Plates are available with either a malleable laminar hook or a mid-plate hole for securing an allograft block, and specialized hinge plates are engineered to stabilize the hinge side of the lamina for enhanced fixation and support.
