Job Summary:

Xtant Medical is seeking talented and dedicated National Accounts Specialist that will support the company mission to market regenerative medicine products and medical devices. The National Accounts Specialist primary responsibilities will be to administer and maintain customer profiles, pricing, and support and collaborate with the National Accounts, Customer Care, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance Departments to support strategic development and compliance.  Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop regulatory knowledge of FDA and AATB
  • Learn and understand the National Accounts contractual agreements at the facility (local), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN), and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) levels
  • Learn how to navigate access channels to shorten the time between opportunity identification and first patient use
  • Administer tasks as they relate to contractual obligations such as:
      • Verifying and maintaining accurate membership credentials
      • Using supplier website portals for contract/pricing activations and access to membership rosters
      • Reporting
      • Compliance
  • Input customer data into Great Plains and provide ongoing data maintenance/hygiene in the Customer Maintenance and GPO Data cards
  • Create formal customer price files and ensure they are accurately maintained and stored in various platforms such as Great Plains, SharePoint, and company drives/folders
  • Assist with customer Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Value Analysis Committee (VAC) strategy and content
  • Learn product attributes and differentiating factors to properly cross reference product utilization reports
  • Facilitate corrections to charge sheet and/or purchase order pricing discrepancies by coordinating with the Customer Care Department and corresponding field Regional Vice President
  • Provide required hospital information to the Finance Team upon receipt of a Contract Term Sheet Request
  • Assist with new purchase agreements, amendments, and exhibits
  • Communicate contract implementation and requirements internally to applicable departments
  • Produce various reports as requested by the Corporate Accounts Manager
  • Maintain National Accounts Dashboard Reports
  • Collaborate with Marketing on new products, market ASPs, and price lists

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret data to make sound judgments
  • Must have the ability to utilize strategic decision making, understanding short-term, mid-term, and long-term effects
  • Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance
  • Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules
  • Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and electronic)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, Outlook, Great Plains (GP)
  • This position does not supervise others
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Standard office hours are Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm. May require occasional evening work

Educational Requirements and External Experience:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Medical industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of National Accounts, Sales, Customer Service experience or related field preferred
  • Experience or basic understanding of contractual agreements is preferred
  • Basic to advanced knowledge and/or experience with accounting or billing is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy is a plus
